Field Notes for Pet Professionals – Pet Sitter Safety System
1. Scope of Services
The Pet Sitter Safety System provides educational materials, professional safety insight, and general occupational safety and health (OSH/EHS)–informed guidance adapted for pet care environments.
The information provided is intended to support safety leadership, risk awareness, and decision-making. It does not constitute legal advice, medical advice, veterinary advice, or individualized compliance determinations.
Participants remain solely responsible for their own business operations, policies, training decisions, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. No Legal or Regulatory Representation
Field Notes for Pet Professionals does not act as legal counsel, regulatory enforcement, or a certifying body. Participation in the Pet Sitter Safety System does not guarantee compliance with OSHA or any other federal, state, or local regulation, nor does it guarantee the prevention of incidents, injuries, or losses.
3. Professional Judgment
Content and guidance reflect professional interpretation of safety principles based on industry experience and established OSH concepts. Application of this information requires professional judgment and must be adapted to each participant’s specific circumstances.
4. Digital Access & Community Participation
Subscriptions may include access to digital materials, updates, and community discussion spaces (such as the Field Notes chatroom). Participants are expected to engage respectfully and professionally. Field Notes for Pet Professionals reserves the right to remove access for behavior that is disruptive, unsafe, or inconsistent with professional standards.
5. Payment & Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital access, professional interpretation, and immediate availability of materials, all purchases are non-refundable.
Annual subscriptions may be canceled at any time to prevent future renewal. Payments already made will not be refunded or prorated.
6. Changes to Content or Structure
Content, formats, and delivery methods may evolve over time to reflect regulatory updates, industry changes, or improvements to the Safety System. Subscriptions provide access to the system as it exists during the active subscription period.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Field Notes for Pet Professionals shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or application of information provided through the Pet Sitter Safety System.
8. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing or accessing the Pet Sitter Safety System, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
